So there making a movie about the 9/11 hijackings, but the question is; is it too soon after it happened to be making this?. IMO I would say that it is far too early to be making a movie about this, it hasn't even been five years yet and the wounds are still raw. But then they make movies about the gulf war. like Jarhead, whilst it is still going on yet no-one complains about that. What do you think? Theres a trailer for the movie here if you really want to see it; http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/united93/

This movie is a load of bullshit. Seriously, it's too soon to do this. I don't like the fact they make it in order to get money. Steven Spielberg was not paid for making Schindler's List. He refused to accept a salary citing that it would be "blood money". We need people like him.

This is pure propaganda and stereotypical.

Jarhead is a war movie about a soldier at war. 911 was about innocent civilians. BIG difference.

I also agree that it's too early. I lost a friend in one of the towers.

I can't bring myself to watch this. It seems almost like a propaganda movie made by the government to remind people why they are still at war in Iraq. It just seems so inappropriate. I think that if they do a movie about 9/11, then it should be done as a tribute to the people who died and those who tried to save anyone. I almost thought that Ladder49 was going to be that.

Yes this is my post from "rate the last movie you saw"thread but I think people should read this: I just Saw United 93 and for those of you who dont know what that is it was the only one of the 4 planes on 9/11/01 that didnt hit their target becuase of determined americans who fought back and saved the white house and who know how many people they saved. This movie was intense you are right there with them and it hits so close to home and your emotions run wild ecsspecially for Americans.I found myself litterally shaking in anger and hatrid towards these These extremist islamic Jahedist terrorist raghead motherf**kers. At the end of the movie grown men were balling and I have never cried during a movie and during this my eyes started to tear up.You fell exactly what these people went through and the choice they made to fight back on this airplane. So I give this film 10/10 becuase its one that people (at least in america) will be talking about for a while and im sure everyone is going to se it but it was an extremly powerful film and some people might want to not see this movie. My heart goes out to the victims, the familes and I want to say thank you for thesse pople's sacrifice.

I plan to see this movie, and I thank you for writing this. Here is a quote,I just though of,"When Man has no choice to die, He will die a hero."My heart goes out to each and everyone of them..."For hundreds to live, a few most die."
