  1. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
  2. Garden State
  3. Star Wars (I like IV, V, and VI best--but I guess I still love them all)
  4. The Matrix Trilogy
  5. Spirited Away
  6. Monty Python movies! (haha 6)

And many others--I really don't think it is possible for me to pick just 5...or six. <3 Sam

You have twelve there, and that was before I counted all the Monty Python films, because I don't know how many there are... aren't you cheating at your own game?

I actually heard Garden State was really bad. Apparently my mom and my sister watched it yesterday On Demand and were really disappointed.

1) The good, the bad and the ugly (big surprise, huh? ;) ) 2) Hunt for Red October (Sean Connery rules!) 3) Seven Samurai (or any other movie by Korusawa for that matter) 4) Indiana Jones and the last crusade 5) Star Wars: The Empire strikes back 6) Hero

there are tons of good movies out there. Difficult to make a choice. Das Boot is also very good (great scene when they sing "It's a long way to Tipperary" ).
