The first time i saw Kill Bill vol. 1, i was very confused because they kept skipping around in time. First it's the present tense, then it was 6 months ago then 1 month later and i was so lost....

Well the 1st time I watched any of the Matrix movies I thought that. After the 4th time they make sense.

You mean Johney Mnemonic? That movie was ok, I guess, but it was kinda confusing. The one movie that really made me say "WTF?" was 12 Monkeys with Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. After I watched that movie, I had no clue what the hell was going on.

The Matrix Reloaded had me reaching for my spare brain when that freakin' Architect came in. I was probably too busy detesting his beard to listen to what he was saying.

12 Monkeys' timeshifts had me somewhat confused at first, but by the end of the movie it all seemed sound to me.

Donnie Darko will eventually make sense to you if you think about it, but I don't think anyone could piece it together by the time the film ends on their first watch. I didn't get a "wtf?" from it, but it did inspire some concentrated pondering.

Other than Reloaded I can't think of any movies that have genuinely mystified me- I'm sure there are some, but none come to mind atm. Except maybe the first Mission Impossible, but perhaps I was distracted by its general shiteness.

Since people are giving reasons I shall give one for resident evil, You know when their in the glass room with the laser defence? and about 4-5 of the STARS members get sliced and diced? yeah that was a big WTF, and you know the one guy from the laser room how he gets his hand/arm sliced, anyway he turns in to a zombie, right? well towards the end of that part of the movie right before the black guy gets diced/cubed, the whole room was turned into a type of netting/mesh, how the hell did the zombies body not come out like that? everyone else seemed to get diced, yet the one stars member did not? WTF.
