Who is watching the Smackdown special tonight and what do you think is going to happen.
I am. I think Rey will put up a fight, but Big Show will end up winning.
Smackdown is on Fridays, not Wednesdays... (at least it was to my knowlege)... - Though I cannot watch it (nor any other WWE events) due to not having Sky TV over here in the UK, I do watch the highlights through WWE.com

Actually it was a Smackdown special yesterday (Tuesday) and having a regular one on Friday here. I thought Ray was done right there when Big Show power bombed him on the car.
Master Chief 14 what do you think is going to happen.
Whatever is in the script:lol:
Exactly, as Beef says. God, I hate these shows. Overacted wrestling just aint something for me.

I did grow up, hence why I don't watch wrastling anymore ;) Wrestling is FAR from "every other show" Half naked oiled up grown men yelling at eachother trying to memorize their script and taking fake punches is not entertaining to me anymore. I love the ole smash yer foot on the canvas while faking to hit your enemy :)
On the otherhand, the chicks are an eyesight (some of them)
I took Physical Education for GCSE and we didn't go near wrestling. Contrariwise, my friend who did GCSE drama did a whole module on wrestling. Apparently it's the hardest form of acting, trying to remember all your lines whilst carrying out the choreographed moves. Which might be why 'The Rock' has become such a good actor! I may or may not have made some of that up. I have watched a few of them back in the days when Channel 4 used to put them on (if they still do). It was amusing, though from what I can tell the only reason to become a regular viewer is for the female wrestling sections. Not that I would ever condone such blatant leering.
Honestly, how many wrestling fans think this stuff isn't written out before it happens? Most fans don't consider it to be a real, traditional sports event. We know that the thing is staged. (Why do you think Rey Mysterio's opponents always land with their heads in the middle of the ropes? So he can perform his signiature move. I watch the WWE when I have free time, not because it I think it is a sports event, but because I think it is an entertaining show. Although I don't agree with everything that is done on the shows, I have to give the writers credit for keeping the drama good all year round. I know it is all planned, but I still like to see what will happen and what plottwists occur. And you have to give the wrestlers credit: Most are very athletic to be able to pull off some of their moves and their pain tolerance must be incredibly high because even though it is staged, it doesn't mean that they feel a lot of the pain.
