People are just being too critical of this one. Ratner did a pretty f*#king good job; considering the first 2 were great and Singer has left it for some other schmo to finish off the series in one final blow. To expect more would just be naive. Everyone complains about the storyline, but if they were to actually think about it, do you think that the "cure" storyling (which I think was awesome) is really that bad when the idea was to finish the series with it. There are only so many storylines to choose from to finish such an admired movies franchise, It was a very good movie. And it is completely underrated.
SaquistwE CAN only hope... I personally don't think Scott is dead. I don't get it...She stopped Scott from using his power but let wolverine kill her...? HUH?
The movie to me didn't make sense.
She let let wolverine kill her because she didn't want to let the pheonix do anymore damage or kill anymore people. The Pheonix had almost taken complete control of Jean but when wolverine said he would die for her that allowed Jean to resurface long enough to get wolverine to kill her.
^Hm, I don't know why he wasn't in. I heard somewhere about it though, there was a reason behind it. Too bad though, he was cool.
Well, I've finally seen the movie. It was good, not too good, but more than sufficient. The only thing is, Ratner introduces so many new interesting characters; yet they do get little time to star on the screen. It was such a waste/shame that mutants like Angel, Juggernaut, Beast, and some others get so little time. Jean/Phoenix, also, doesn't actually play a role that big in the movie.
I also was dissappointed in Vinnie Jones. I mean, I thought he was casted great, but he was really.. below average. The "I'm the Juggernaut, b*tch"-sentence didn't really sound convincing.
But all by all it was pretty good, I think Ratner did a good job, although Singer could have done it better.
i think that they should have given a reason in either X2 or X3, about why nightcrawler wasnt in it. It's stupid how they added it into the game, which is terrible.
In the comic...Nightcrawler was a peacefull highly spiritual character and eventually left the X-Men because of the violence he took part in.

Yeah; that was it. In the game, they explained why he wasn't in the movie.
Oh, and you may not have two signatures; there is only one allowed.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

That's why he's not in the movie. It was explained in the game.
they guy who played nightcrawler didn't want to be in the 3rd because his part was not all that big abd he hated the process of putting on his nightcrawler makeup and didn't consider it worth it. So his character was written out of the script. The actor did voice act for nightcrawler in the video game though.
Blurb123Magneto didn't lose his powers (he moved the chess piece in the park with his hand at the end). And since he didn't, mostly likely Rogue and Mystique didn't either. When Beast was touring Worthington Labs, Dr. Rao said that they hadn't been able to perfectly replicate Leech's DNA. Since the replication wasn't perfect and Magneto didn't lose his powers, the cure was most likely temporary.[/QUOTE] Oh, you're right, totally forgot that.
