Hello everyone

Mostly I do work in Jedi Academy but now I think I will move into Oblivion. I want to have the Skeleton as an actual race. I have looked and searched high and low out there and the closest I can come to an actual Skeleton race is a mod where it uses clothing to form your character into a skeleton. Well whoop di doo, I want to actually be the skeleton and wear differnt clothing etc etc. Any hints/pointers/tips/basic instructions on how I would actually get started on this journey...

Much thanks ahead of time for anyone to take time to explain things for me O.O

I'm in the process of making a new race as well. I don't know how well it will work for skeletons, or whether or not they can wear clothes... The race I am trying to make is a combo of existing races, so I don't know how helpful this will be for you. But here are a couple of brief suggestions. First you have to unpack the bsa files. A tutorial on how to do that can be found here: Oblivion Source Forums - View topic - Tutorial by Doglike-Spike - Unpack the BSA files to get NIFs Doing this will allow you to select the body components of your new race. After that you have to load up the cs and under character, select race(s) Create a new one, then swap out the arms, legs, feet, head, etc of the imperials (or whatever) with skeleton parts (if possible). Try to look at existing races to determine what needs to be done. So far for me making a new race hasn't been that hard. Though it wouldn't surprise me if there is quite a bit I'm missing. And you are probably going to need help from someone more experienced sooner or later. But this should help (I hope) in a basic way toward making a new race. Good luck
