so i am trying to design an auto crossbow, like vanhelsing, but i do not know what program to use to design the 3d models, or the scriptings lol unless someone else likes the idea and wants to run with it i like the idea... morrowind or obliv, i run both but oblivion will be apreciated by people more... but morrowind does had crossbows already...

Good luck with every thing other than the model part... 3dsmax would be the best tool to use, but even a student license costs around $200. I heard that Blender is a common tool used in the creation of models for Oblivion, but I don't know much about it.

hmm this wold be pretty damn cool, although i think just making a machine gun would be better. that crossbow made NO sense. and it made even less sense when he dipped it in the holy water. ONLY ONE BOLT GETS WET! madness. not sparta, nor egypt, nor BLACK HELLFIRE PIT OF DOOM AND DESPAIR! just madness but yeah, just make a mesh and slap it on the staff anim, and fire away! *glee*

Oh, yeah then that should be pretty simple. Just import the Staff, and replace the mesh with whatever one you made/have permission to use.

I could be completely wrong on this so bear with me. 3dsmax is a tool also used for Jedi Academy, and gmax is also one that JA uses along with XSI Mod Tool. Could either of those tools model something for Morrowind?
