Yup. BOSS MONSTERS.
I think it would be a pretty cool idea, for like at the end of elven ruins and forts and what not, that right at the end, after hacking your way through all the foot soliders, there might be a giant enemy, thats really difficult to kill.
The idea would be you get to the end of a ruin full of...say...trolls. Then you get to the end and there is a massive troll right there (Not freakishly huge just like 1.5-1.7 times the size) it would be way harder than all the other trolls to kill, but it would have amazingly good loot on it. Maybe some two level higher weapons (E.g, If you were getting dwarven weapons from the normal enemies, you would get glass from the boss.)
Just think it would be a nice, fun addition to have to the game. If anyone is interested in creating this please let me know, and I could maybe help a little bit. :)

that is quite a good idea, i wud love to be able to fight a hard monster at the end of a fort run (by this i mean looting trip) and get a huge boss to face :nodding: unfortunately i cant rly help in making this happen :(

Are you talking about scripted boss monsters? like, it puts a jounal entry in, or something? cuz if you just want a single mega-creature all you have to do is go to the editor, make the ID and drop it in. that's what I'M doing for my boss-type critters

I agree with 8-Bit_Jack. It is realy easy to do this if you take your time. Also if you want a Boss creature in a dungon with all you need to do is create a new creature by making an ID and put it into all dungons. But I've never ever seen a creature in real life who is that much stronger than the others that one other can't kill it. Which means it is unnatural, which is not a good thing, in my opinion.
