Well, hello there, guys:cya: ^^, I volunteerd to open this topic for all you here at Filefront, and since I'm lazy, I'll copy just what Exaras (the leader) wrote. Note please that I'm NOT in the team and can't answer a lot of questions that my come up. Here is what Exaras wrote on Rochmedia.com:
We're making a Total Conversion of Oblivion. It's settled in the Hundred Years War in France. There are three Nations the Bretagne, the Kingdom of France and Kingdom of England.
Region: Border between the Normandie and the Bretagne.
Special Places: The Mont Saint Michel (Saint Michaels Mount) which is heavily fortified.
Other Things: There won't be magic spells.
Races: There won't be real races. You can choose between English, Breton, French, Irish, German, Italian and Spanish Characters.
Sounds like a hard Task?: Yes, but we heave allready a Team of 13 Developers and some of them are very skilled. We're mostly from germany (one is from swiss) and we thought that it would be a good idea to release it in other languages than german. So there will be a german, english and french version. I hope we will get some helpers from other countrys too smile.gif Our Team was founded yesterday and the project was very succesfull on german websites. So why not release in many languages ?!
If anybody wants to join the team write it into the topic and/or give me your MSn/ICQ Number pls.

Okay, these are the basics, there has been a few other ideas nirn.de, which I (hope) will be able to give you guys some infos. The idea of including Vikings was put of, apparently also the idea of making a mass-fight-scene, with a Rome/Medieval game, but that probaly would not be able since the Producers wouldn't like it. So the one still unanswerd question would be the church. If it will be included and if they may have access to an little magic^^, would explain why they had so much power then:rofl:......^^
So what is, apparently, imagined is: You go, as the friend of the french into a town and sleep in a tavern, the next day a local merchant is killed and the town, which is run by the english, say you did it, because your on the side of the french. So there will be a lot of choice concerning who will you be with and against^^
So, the people who make this mod can mod!! They still could need help! So if you can mod or want to help: Please sent an email to email@example.com , he will hopefully be able to help you. Also, later in development, the ywill need speakers, english ones^^, since germans talking english sounds funny and english talking german is even funnier:lol:
Again, I'm not a team member, I just used the fact that I have an account here to ask if they would be fine, if I made an thread here for you! It will likely take some time, but I think it will be worth the wait.
Sounds like a cool idea. Sadly, I can't mod (dóh), but if you need an experienced graphic artist. (for the site, banners, wallpapers, whatever) Gimme a call. (but.. what the hell are Germans, Italians and Spanish doing in France?)
Sounds great, I hope it gets finished. I probably couldn't help seeing as the most complicated thing I've done is made items for my guy to use by using other peoples models and textures and put them in vendors for personal use. I hope it'll be historically accurate.
They'll try do get it historically correct, but nobodys perfect^^ P.S. SREENS!!! Look in my first post^^..... ähhh, don't, I just saw there is no edit button there.... Well, here they are: ImageShack - Hosting :: oblivion200705122155432sr9.jpg
I like the colorful armor^^
I wanted to do something like this before, but never got around to it. If I discover that I have any skills to contribute, I'd be happy to help :)
