im having trouble with the icon image in TES construction set i go to make a new weapons i give it its name fill out the details i put in the nif files in the meshes foler on my oblivion directory And the i put in the texture in my texture folder on my oblivion diectory and STOP! theres and error message saying "invalid directory" so how do i make a directory valid eh?
I personally havent gotten that far, so I wouldnt know. But did you get everything UV mapped right? Cuz I'm still hung up on that
actually ive built a weapon and it works in the game but there are a few bugs when i drop the weapon i cant pick it back up and the physics system wnt apply to it and i cant figure out how to put it in the shops thats about it heres the beta version of it anyway http://files.filefront.com/FireScar_BETAzip/;5086650;;/fileinfo.html
Sounds bout what I ran into. I finally got the thing UV mapped correctly and exported it .nif style, put it in the Arena Blood works, but I cant even pick mine up, and the physics wont apply either.
I'm wondering if I screwed something up in Max or if there's something I have to do in NifScope.
same but its not 3ds max cuz i treid fixing it into an editable poly and that didnt work i tried using other programs to convert the file but it still wont work if anybody got answers i would love to hear them!
what do u use to open the .nif files.. is it nifscope? i searched and didnt really find anything..
Yeah, Nifscope opens .nif files.
I get an error when I open my sword file in Nifscope though.

Maybe I exported it from 3DS Max wrong? I still really have no idea what I'm doing.
