Hey, I'm currently in the process of changing the way vampires are portrayed in oblivion, I'm a strong beveler in you never get something for nothing, and i believe that the process of becoming stronger and the feeding system is backwards.

At the moment I'm struggling to determine what controls the feeding patterns. I want the player to have to feed on others to become stronger and then to lower the vampire percentage, force the player refrain from feeding on others to lower his or her vampire percentage to a level were npc's will talk to the player (to complete quests etc) also i want to add a final stage too the vampire witch at 100% the player will transform into a "Vampire blood beast" witch can't use weapons or armor, and is reduced to clawing at enemy's to kill them.

I am in the process of creating gauntlets that serve the purpose as the claws, and an animation for a "i want to feed on a npc while he/she is awake" witch i thought could be a replacement for the yield action or a replacement to the basic activation while in the "Blood Beast" form, in addition while in that form i wish the guards to auto attack and others flee in terror.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm a one man team and I'm only skilled in making models and animations. If you could write the script's you would be my god, but if you could link me too websites that explain the scripting syntax I would also be extremely thankfull.

Thanks.

hmm... sounds like you want a morrowind werewolf reaction...

i'd try examining the script from morrowind (cuz member, vampires are sometimes attacked on sight, and werewolves ALWAYS are) and if the script is similar enough, you could just transplant it. as for the feeding... yeah i dunno

I highly doubt porting a Morrowind script would help... I've never even opened the Oblivion construction set, and I've simply look at the controls in the Morrowind one, and I can tell Oblivion scriptes are FAR more complex than Morrowind. Werewolf/Vampires are completely different in Morrowind and Oblivion. I'm not sure if what you want to do is even possible because of the way the vampire system is built in.

You should try Main Page - The Elder Scrolls Construction Set Wiki for some help with scripting.
