Hola, I'm here to introduce my mod "The City Of Sunev". I've been working on it now for about 2 months. I'm a few days away from the latest release (V058). It creates a new medium sized city in the lower niben region of Cyrodiil. It is the first mod I've ever done (not counting editing data files or making maps), and thankfully its coming out nice. I've tried to make it as pretty and detailed (without overdoing it) as I can. The city itself contains over a dozen buildings, and the mod contains over 2 dozen interiors. A new fort\mine complex and a new road. Soon the city will be done, and I can focus on AI and quest creation. I have over 80 screenshots but I could only post 6 here, so I've attached some to this post. Any comments\suggestions\feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. 080.jpg076.jpg066.jpg054.jpg043.jpg021.jpg012.jpg009.jpg

I downloaded it but i cant find it. Where exactly is it? Maybe add a "not found yet" map marker to it, so you can find it, but without fast travelling there instantly first time.

Firstly, welcome to the forums, hope you spend more time here. I like the look of it, but i'm not overkeen on the amount of background Welkynd Stones used in the 3rd screenshot. All in all it seems a very well laid-out map, can't wait til it's completely finished. Keep up the good work! Sam

There is a road that leads from the mine to the city. Also there is a map marker for Sunev castle, Around the w and i, east of the welkynd mine. Thanks! The 3rd shot is from the welkynd mine. I have a building in the city "The Welkyndworks and Stonemasons Guild" that has a centerpiece big worked welkynd stone. I needed to make something to explain the presence of such a big stone, so I made a big mine. I tried to make it a little varied, the stones are white on top, blue on the bottom and green where they meet in the middle. I imposed the welkynd stones over the existing stalagmites\stalactites (sp) that are part of the cave pieces. I know its a little overdone, but since its pretty (and took forever and a f#$%^&* day to do) I don't want to take it out. :) I also did it cause I needed cave practise. At first I couldn't do caves at all, so I focused on ayleid pieces. After I got better with the editor I thought I'd try to give caves another go. Caves are easy when you get the hang of the editor, but I still don't know why when they are so uneven and round the tutorial uses them as an introduction. It should have used the ayleid pieces since they are square and symetrical, or even the fort pieces.

If you know how to, why not create a rockface similar to the Silver and Gold veins in the original game but have it as a Welkynd or Varla vein, where you can extract said types of stone.

Ah there it is. Thanks. Some of the areas look really good. The roof in the Ayleid Manor is awesome, and that when its finished should be good. Whats all the doors for btw? Seems kinda confusing, sorta like the Testinghall... Otherwise, this is an awesome start.

Thanks, its a good idea, but it wouldn't really work. [quote=Ringlets;3745666]Ah there it is. Thanks. Some of the areas look really good. The ayleid manor is very, very WIP. That is going to be the last or second last thing I do, and when I do it, it probably will be very different once its done. The only thing in there that I am going to keep probably is the park with the roof. I kind of wanted when I just started to have that be a kind of apartment building, but as I got further into the mod I realized having each of those doors have a cell would take like 2 months. SOOOO... I have to update what I want that area to be, and how its going to look once finished. It basically has all those doors because I used to think that maybe I would fill them all, and I didn't want the mod to have any big open holes. Or anything too unfinished looking.

Looking forward to it. Found a small quick-fix error - if you attack someone, the guards engage you in conversation, but then say nothing guard related, and keep talking to you, probably because the bounty is still unsettled.

I finally finished V058. It took so much longer then I thought it would, but the 3 new buildings it adds are huge (25+ new rooms 10+ new cells). This release finishes off all the conventional, above ground buildings in the city, leaving only the castle (which I've already started) which will be V059, and the remainder of the Sunev Subterrania section which will be V060. I've submitted it for display\hosting here, but it isn't up yet. If\when it is I'll update this post and add a link. For the time being though you can only download it from these 3 places: City of Sunev for Oblivion - Mod DB The Elder Scrolls Source - City of Sunev City of Sunev - Planet Elder Scrolls I've attached some screenshots. The first is a WIP screenshot from the next unreleased V059, and the last I've submitted for picture of the day. 0017.jpg107.jpg106.jpg103.jpg089.jpg
