For some reason, I have this problem every time I install the thing and try to uninstall it. Some error comes up saying I can't and I find myself here trying to find a solution. Its been awhile since the last time I've tried to uninstall it so I don't recognize this error...(it doesn't say error but it has one of those red circles with the white X and makes that annoying error noise thing).

SetupDLL/SetupDLL.cpp (390) PAPP: Oblivion PVENDOR: Bethesda Softworks (Bethesda Softworks) PGUID: 35CB6715-41F8-4F99-8881-6FC75BF054B0 $11.0.0.28844 @Windows Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 0.0

so...wtf does this mean? THANKS

i had that problem, all i had to do was delete the oblvion folder from program files/Bethesda software. Then put oblivion in, and go into my computer then click on the drive which your disk is in ( right click then open ) And click the setup.exe. Back up any mods or w/e from data.

Hey thanks a lot, have to take note of this one because I'm sure I'll have future screw ups. But when you say go to setup.exe. doesn't that install it? I just want it uninstalelled with all data of oblivion erased from my PC.

Well, just deleting the folder won't entirely remove the game from your computer. It will leave registry files which may be a problem when you go to re-install it. Not to mention the game will still be on the Add/remove programs list.
