I have a little problem with buying the hause in Skingrad in TES IV: Oblivion because the ork who I can buy it from is dead due to game bug/error probably. It seems like he has fallen from the bridge to the castle Skingrad while walking on it. Since it has little walls around I suspect that it had to be a collision problem because he lies directly under the bridge. It's pretty annoying that I could not be able to buy this hause because of this thing. I chcked older saved games and he's already lieing there so I can't do anything, I also noticed that later Titius Sextius has fallen in other place. I was wondering if anyone here would know where is the data about charachter and enviroments state stored. I guess that these have to be one of the save files stored in My documents since it's a major factor for the game. Now I suspect that it is possible to open them and find the code describing state of this certain charachter. Do anyone know how can I open the save files? There are two different format files per one saved game. Or can I modify them with Oblivion construction set maybe? If not it would be also nice if someone with experience in modifying that code could help me. It would be pretty simple I guess to change sate of this npc and be able to buy the house.

Everyone else at the castle tells me to meet that ork since he is the only person who can sell me the house. Or do I just need to practice some speachcraft on those two in the castle hall?

I checked it and these two from castle hall still say that the ork was the only person that can handle the deed after persuasing them.
