I'm running Windows XP Pro x64 and was having no problems with Oblivion until about an hour into the game. It will just crash without any warnings. I had oblivion do a DirectX diag and it comes up with the following error.
Error: Problem getting extra sound info, result code = 0x80070057(invalid argument(s))
I have the latest version of Realtek AC97. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong.
