hey everyone, on the PS3 version of Oblivion i completed the Knights of the Nine quest, was very much enjoying the crusader weapons/armour, i moved on to do the dark brotherhood quest, got booted out of the armour (obviously). i've now completed the dark brotherhood quest and attempted travelling the pilgrim's way to get forgiveness again. i went to a wayshrine of each of the 9 gods, and it still tells me to continue my penance to receive forgiveness. what am i doing wrong here?

Have you done One of each of the Nine? I'm not quite sure if you can get forgiveness again. If you had the PC version I'd tell you to just use the consol, but seeing as it's on a PS3...

well i found the problem was that somehow along the way i managed to miss a wayshrine of Arkay, not sure if i just plain walked past it, or if i thought i'd activated it, but missed, either way, i'm allowed to wear the crusader equipment again, not that i need to, i have a a complete collection of Daedric Armor (just waiting to find a sigil stone with a strength fortifier before i change my helmet)

The powers of the crusader armour are great, and with appropriate jewellery I consider it to be pretty much the uber. As for your quest for enlightenment - there are multiple shrines for some (all?) gods, and for some reason the Crusader quest and armour only respond to some of them. So long as you keep to the ones on the map you were given at the start of the quest, you should be fine.

ok now that that problem is sorted, i have a new one, Thieves guild quest, "taking care of Lex" i'm up to the part where you tell "The Stranger" to forger you a letter, he told me to wait 24 hours, so i did, then i spoke to him again, and he told me it wasn't ready, so i went away and waited another 24 hours, he still says its not ready, in total i have waited 9 or 10 days, and he still tells me it isn't ready.

I play Oblivion on the Xbox 360 and I was wondering, does your account have to be online to start Knights of the Nine?
