I have recently got a new computer, and I have had constant problems with Oblivion. At first the game froze, so I updated my Nvidia drivers, which fixed the problem. I had the wrong Nvidia driver installed (the normal XP version, not the Media Center one), and had to re-install the operating system after it failed to boot after a week of use. I have tested all my hardware components for errors, and they all work well. I have also defragmented my hard drive. As I am playing Oblivion, when I enter or leave a building the game either gives be a black screen with looping sound or gives me a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). The game also BSOD's when I am simply walking around the game world. Just recently the game froze while exiting the game and I had to reboot. Here is the error message: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. There are some numbers following, and I will post them the next time the error occurs. I have uninstalled my HP printer, updated my NVidia drivers to 93.71 (they are for the correct operating system). Other games such as Battlefield 2142 and Star Wars:Empire at War work fine. My system specs are: Windows XP Media Center NVidia GX2 7950 Creative X-FI Audio Card Pentium 4 3.8 GHZ 4GB of Ram This error has been happeningly more and more frequently. Somone please help!

Some more errors have occured. Once when entering a door in Oblivion, i got a black screen with looping sound. Another time i was playing I got this message: Driver_IRQL-Not_less_or_equal Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x00000030, 0x00000007, 0x00000000, 0xB8A71613) Datestamp 3fb8d436 The sound appeared to remain working, as I heard a variatey of different in-game noieses while the blue screen was displayed. Any suggestions? This is getting really annoying.
