I've been looking at ATI's X1300 but don't wanna buy it if some of Oblivion's features would be limited, what do you guys think?

I wouldn't buy the X1300. It isn't that great a card. If you want to buy an ATI card you should consider these ones: ATI Radeon X800 ATI Radeon X850 ATI Radeon X1800 ATI Radeon X1900 The X850, 1800, and 1900 are probably the best graphics cards available. They will all run Oblivion really well. I have an X850 and it's a great card. The X850 goes for about $400, X1800 for $475, X1900 for $600. You can get 2 versions of the X850. The Pro is about $350 and comes with the card and a few gadgets like some extra hook up wires so you can hook it to your TV and that, The XT comes with a bunch of extra crap. A bunch of wires for every occasion. The XT goes for about $450. In terms of strength the X850XT and Pro are the same. They have the sime shader, pipelines, and everything. The X850 is just about as good as the X1800. But, if you want a extrmely badass card get the X1900XT.

I've got a Sapphire x850XT from newegg.com and its so great. Its default clocks (which are already overclocked) are 520 core and 540 memory (I'm reading this in DDR, but really the memory is GDDR3) and I can get it up to 600 core and 630 memory with it still being stable. Plus the card only is like $200 (maybe $220 now) but its a heck of a deal!

How good is an X300? The grphics look pretty horrible in my game.
