I apologize for the structure of this half ass tutorial, if anything needs to be clarified just ask :P

First you need a good image editor like adobe photoshop or paintshop pro. Start by editing the files in the game already. The skin files are located in the Pak2.pk3 file in the mohaa/main directory. This can be opened with winzip or winrar as the pk3 files are really just zip files with a different extension. Once extracted, navigate to the textures/models/human directory. This is the location for the player skins. The weapon skins are located in the textures/models/weapons directoy. Open the image you want to edit in one of the image editors mentioned above, make the desired changes, and save. Make sure to save as 32bit, it will ask. Then to view your changes: 1)make a folder named textures 2)make a folder named models inside textures 3)make a folder named human inside models You should now have a folder structure of textures/models/human. Then assuming that you were making a player skin for the allied ranger, you would need to create a usmaps folder in the human directory and a ranger folder inside that. Confused yet? lol..hope not. Place your edited ranger skin in the ranger folder. Now to repack. To recap, this should now be the structure: textures/models/human/usmaps/ranger/the_edited_ranger_skin Create a new folder named user__newskin and put all you new folders into this new folder. Now your structureshould look like this: user_newskin/textures/models/human/usmaps/ranger/the_edited_ranger_skin. Its not as hard as im making it sound, just trying to make sure that ive explained this right. Now go into the user_newskin folder, create a new folder. It doesnt make any difference of the name, its just a place holder for convenience. Highlight the new folder and the textures folder with a right click. When you release the menu will come up with winzip in the options. Choose the second option for winzip that says add to user_newskin.zip. A new zip file will be created in the same directory, change the extension from zip to pk3. Save it and put it in the mohaa/main directory. Be sure to have texture compression disabled in the game to see the skins for weapons. Thats it, if you did it right then the new skin will be available in the game. Any questions, let me know.
