I'm having trouble creating transparent .tga's (for compasses or avatar's). I use PrintShop Pro... if anyone knows how to make them with print shop pro, whether or not u can make them with print shop pro, and if not, what program can u create them with...
Unload mask from alpha channel, i think. pretty sure 85%
if ur talkin about PAINTshop pro then i know how. When u select a tool like flood fill, (i hope u know what that is because i'm usin it as an example) It;ll have a menu to the side that hase the word opacity. If it is on 100% switch it lower and it should be transparent. Hope the shot helps u
You need to edit the ALPHA channel of the image in order to change its shape, this can be done in deferent ways depending on which software you are using, changing the layers opacity dose not effect the images “ALPHA” Channel which is the part of the image that you are trying to edit, here is a quick little tut. (its for Phtoshop but may be of some help)
hope the has been of some help. http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=76732
