I didn't make it!
ok this is a follow up on my "wtf? does et not like dual core"
which is still an issue...
but one thing i found that was odd... was that for some reason when i start et and it begins to run the et console... it shows that i have a pentium III... mildly perplexed by this... i can only assume that they just did not write this game to even reconize the p4's but am not sure about this... and can only think that this can be the only reason it does this...
i began to test it out and found that it only seems to do this randomly now... i was even able to record video of me play with out a hitch... but the time before i started recording the video... it lagged... but after ward... when i put the system under a larger load... it continued like it should...
i have provided a screenie showing what the et console says and a screenie of my cpu info...

Console detects CPU as Pentium 3 instead of 4 Question The console detects my CPU as Pentium 3 but I have a Pentium 4. Answer This is a known issue and is nothing to be concerned about. This will not effect game performance whatsoever.

Yes, the game is written on the quake 3 engine. Pentium 3's where the latest processors out back then.
