I have the uk platinum edition of RTCW+ET i played on ET on a French server. Now everytime i am on the main menu or doing anything that is not in-game the writing is french. How do iget it back to English? I have tried reinstalling the whole thing too.
a mate of mine had the same problem [:O] he tryed reinstalling and redownloading it and it still didnt work! and theres no way of changeing country in game! 2 idea spring to mind
1. first off try going on an english/usa server try a few and see if that fixis it. 2. console commands try find or looking for a console command which might change language "it will be something like /seta_launguage 1 have a look around, try the et main web site they will proble know more.
The french server makes you download a pack that changes the language (the language cvar doesn't do anything, I checked it out. As far as I know, ET doesn't have any built-in multi-language support). You should have a file somewhere named WolfET_Fr_Alpha2.pk3 (or something like that). Delete it.
