Okay, whenever I play TC:E long enough, my computer's fan starts blowing much harder because my computer is heating up. This usually happens in around 10 minutes of playing. I have an Nvidia e-Geforce 5200 128MB video card, a Celeron 2.93 Gigahertz Processor and 256 MB of ram. Is it okay that my computer does this? or am I doing the right thing by quitting gameplay every time it starts doing it? If it is a bad thing, how can I prevent this from happening? Any help is appreciated and I thank you ahead of time.smilie.gif

Either turn your settings down, or buy another fan. Really cant "Fix" over heating software wise.

And i wouldnt help but notice you only have 256mb of ram. This has nothing to do with your problem, but get a stick of 512mb. Seems like a waste having a nice cpu and card with such little amounts of ram+ it would do wonders performance wise ;)

First thing I would ask is does it do that with any other game? Is the computer a custom build or something like a dell? Open the case and tie up the loose wires and cables. Make it so as much air as possible can move through the case. If there are any openings for fans that do not have any I would put some in. I have the front fan intake air and the back ones exhaust air out. I have a case with one in the side that takes air in and one on the top exhausting as well. Four fans. Keeps the system cool but a little noisy. pleased.gif:deal:
