>Omen<That would be Deadwood, and the weapon you speak of is the ASP. I fell in love with that map too, and the ASP as well.

Omen; Sorry about the slightly-wrong weapon name. <:) I'm still getting used to playing F.E.A.R.; I keep thinking of HL2's SMG. The ASP I don't think is an SMG, anyhow! :) Deadwood, I think you're right... strange the way the memory works, but even though that one mapcycle in which I played it was weeks ago, I still remember the map's name with reasonable clarity after you mentioned it. I have a feeling that if you enjoy Deadwood as much as I did, we may enjoy it for similar reasons. The two big things for me in it were the 'ravine cliff' off to one side, that I really was good at sniping from (again, with the ASP), or having my own butt blown off from someone there while I was amongst the trees. The second thing was the placement of weapons and grenades/ammo; I usually went to the same place (the pallets, two at each end of the map) to get a particular weapon, and then back up to the cliff- and more often than not, I managed to do it before getting nailed by someone. That server was sweet- good players and not a whole lot of jerks, even though I must've been Pwned a lot- but for the life of me I can't remember its name. Anyway, I'll go take a look at the Putfile vid you linked to a little while later; I think I dl'ed both of your 'Another Day At The Office' vids a couple of weeks ago, but I don't mind a refresher (and this would be more direct than looking through the whole ADATO #2 all over again). Danke for posting the link!

||G||;

I won't speak for Knipps, but I think he means (to some degree) that your posting was veering kind of off-topic (i.e. talking about my posting, which again, I'm very flattered to know you think so well of how I do it). That was my fault for going on a bit, too, so I humbly accept my part of the responsibility for that, Knippschild. In any case, I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon, ||G||; I know it's been a while since I've posted in here (F.E.A.R., that is) and I'd enjoy furthering our converses. :)

EDIT: Damn, just looked at the link- and I thought _I_ was good with the ASP! I think that's what I was using for my sniping... and yeah, that's the same map. I kind of liked the ravine trail that goes around and behind one side of the map, slightly high elevation than the 'cliffside'. If I needed some privacy (i.e. a few minutes to rest my poor mousefinger ;)) to reload or just to take the long way around, I'd go there for half a minute. I didn't find a lot of people used it; certainly not the way you and the fellow you took out with the grenade at the end did. Again, thanks for putting up the link; it was enjoyable to see that. How d'you like being in Hollywood now? :) Party on!
