Im making a mod that changes the way the visuals of the game work.
Some of the weapons will look more powerfully and have cooler special effects but will not behave any differently.
Also, I have the goal of having permanent decals.
I have already modified the weapons and I have gotten permanent model decals working [bullet holes on dead bodies]. However, I do not know how to make wall decals such as blood spatters and bullet holes permanent.
Im probably going to release my mod tommorow weather I can get the wall stuff working or not, but if anyone call help with the wall decals, that would be much appreciated!
I found these things called MarkFX s but apparently they are controlled by game logic. I have not found a way to edit this game logic. There also seems to be a way to control their fading based on the model files... but this one is ify and I still dont have a modelling program to use to check this one out.
