Hello guys, i've read all topics here but don't find any answer.

My problem : My game freezes ( or is just very very laggy ) when i pass throught a door or at the corner of a wall. It's very strange because this happend always at the same times. Maybe have you this problem too...

My specs :

- AMD 64 3000+ 1.84 Ghz - POV 6800 Ultra ( 425/1200 ) - 768 DDR-Ram PC3200

I run the game in 1024*768 and high details, i have a very good framerate ( 50~60 fps ) in general, but not during the part i mentionned before.

I have speaked about this problem with some friends, and they have it too, not so heavy, but they have it. I think that was a problem in the code, and need an optimization.

So, what about you ? do you have it ?

Thanks for response anyway...

Not heard of this error yet...Seems strange and I haven't experienced anything like it as such. I just get lag throughout the demo lol. Perhaps someone else can help you?

Perhaps a corrupted file?

Seems likely that it might be something to do with the files, as your PC is more than adequate to run the game.

Maybe there are portals at this place and this make the game freezes and run slowly.

In fact, i really don't know what is it, but i hope it will be removed from the final version. And as everybody knows, a demo didn't always represente the final game, there will certainly have few optimizations before release in october.

Yeah, a few games have problems with portal optimisation on some machines. This could be the root of your problems.
