I downloaded the demo and was able to run it on medium-high settings with a high Frame-rate with my PC:

3ghz P4 1gig RAM Radeon 9800 128mb (AGP) Dual DVD Burners :P Creative Soundblaster live! 24-bit

Yeah that's pretty much what my pc could handle, except with a 9600XT instead.

LocomotorHrmmmm, how will a 256 MB GeForce FX5600 do? I'll be upgrading soon enough though.

thats what i have and everything runs great. I havent played fear yet, but for a comparison, i get between 30 and 60 fps on medium settings for HL2. and get approx. 30 even on medium when playing doom3 thats with a p4 3ghz, 1gb ram

edit....woops i misread that. Thought it said 5600 LE

And the fact that Fear is so much more system pushing than both Doom 3 and HL2 won't help. A 5600 just won't cut it. Maybe on low but it won't be pretty...
