Hi. I wouldnt normaly do this but im getting that fed up with FarCry 2's DDr Actervation. (is that what it is). Any way im ive been buying legal all my life and still will, ive never downloaded a game even for PC. But im getting very angry off this DDr Actervation. Ive had to uninstall my Far Cry 2 3 times but now ive come to put it back on and i chose to put the key in threw there site for re-actervasion. But now ive got to uninstall the game to free up some some of my reactervation so i can actervate it again because the same CD key have been used 3 times. And yes its me what used them for this computer. But this prosess is realy making me mad and just wanted to sign a petition to get rid of it. I know its along shot be for us legit people who buy it, its a pain in ars for us.

thanks.

As long as you uninstall the game properly you have unlimited activations.

if you need more space buy a bigger hard drive, they are really cheap these days.

Its DRM (Digital Rights Managment), not DDR (Double Data Rate.....or Dance Dance Revolution =p ).

I don't think it works like that. If you're running Windows XP go to your 'Control Panel' then click on 'Add and remove programs' and finally find the game and uninstall it. If you're running Vista however, the 'Add and remove programs' is just called programs and usually has a sub option below to uninstall programs.

Ive even downloaded the Revoke tool from there web site and run that and that doesnt even work. It says "This actervation is not Actervated on your Machine, the revocation can not be proformed" And ive tried uninstalling it 3 times yesterday and installing and no luck. Ive actualy even Formated it twice thinking this would help be no. Thanks ubisoft for wasting my £34,99p.

I should have just stuck with the 360 instead of paying out a new computer last march. my pc cost me £1,050 my graphics card £270 and a new TV to play on which cost £499 and it a good job i didnt buy a monitor like i was going to at least i can play my 360 and watch TV.

So you are mad at Ubisoft because you can't uninstall a program correctly? The rest of us have had no problems with it.

PC > 360

Yes i uninstalled it and put it back on (Vista way) and still didnt work. I formatted it and still didnt work but after 4 formats it worked for some reason. Ive sent ubisoft a *nice* Email asking if they no why this is happening. But ive never had this problem be for and i think this is the first time using this Drm thing but it might be just me. But it seems to be working now.

Well, I'm happy you have it working as that was the main problem.

If you buy it on Steam do you "Delete Local game files" or do you go through the Windows uninstall?
