Okay, so i have the none steam version of FC2.
The problem is, it worked absolutely fine at first, settings at very high/high/ultra high...
But now, when ever i start, it takes about 1 min 30 secs to get to the main menu screen (It takes 1 min 30 sec to load) Then when i try to start the game it does not start, at least it takes over 15 minutes.
Please help. This came with my 9600gso, My cpu is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+ 2.20 GHz. 2.00 GB os RAM.
All other games work fine..... I suspect it is because this came with my video card/ its not steam, and i have steam on, so steam might recongnize it and mess with it.
I didn't make it!
Sounds confusing mate, can you get it running in safe mode at a good speed? If not i'd say, uninstall and re-install the game after making sure the registarys are gone"! :)...
Sounds more like a memory issue, or hard drive, how much hard drive space do you have left?, and have you defragmented recently?
Use Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool to see if you have enuff memory
any more details you can give tho, for example think what has changed on your system since the game worked fine - new programs etc try uninstalling them (if do able) and see if this makes a difference
