Does anybody know how to change the type/color/size of the crosshair? I find that light yellow just doesnt cut it for. Any help appreciated
I guess after 60+ hits on this thread it safe to say that nobody knowes haow to change the color of the crosshair
Hey Jay7219! :cya: I saw your Question and loaded FarCry to check, and the only way I see to change Reticle size/color is to Edit the Code. Sorry I couldn't be of any further help than that (I don't know code).:uhm:
SAME HERE! Some games you can change the color/size/style in the CFG file. But I looked too and there isnt anything there that RELATES to crosshairs. Im sure some 'SMARTY PANTS' will make a small mod for that in the near future. After all, FC is relativly new ... I guess we can either learn code or deal with the crappy stock crosshairs. Thanks anyhow buddy!
It's me again. how ya doing? I was looking through the downloads section and came across a weapons download for a clearer reticle and it is in green (makes it easier to see when targeting).:) Hope this works for you. P/S you wouldn't know the way out of the last of the archive section, would you? I got past the underground warehouse to the bay warehouse but can't find a way out of warehouse except the way I came in. Any clues???:uhm:

OK I added it to the site. :)
I started at medium skill level instead of easy and I was doing good but, all of a sudden I got to a part were the MERCS could almost take a whole clip from both assault rifles. I was probably stuck trying to get to the next waypoint for 12 HOURS. Then I had some video issues so I uninstalled the game and then started over on EASY level. I only at the steam plant right now. Plus, Im playing BF/DC alot, painkiller and COD; not much time on any of them really. The answer !!! No sorry, but if I find out I will reply to you thanks again to FRAGGE and DEAD MAN KILLING.
Hey Jay7219 ! :cya: I had a lot of trouble with the foe's getting to tuff to kill easily, but I found a way that helps if you have a chance to sneak-up on them and use single shot (you can change rate of fire by hitting the 'Num Lock' key. either single or rapid fire). Single shot allows shots to be more acurate (I think you can use the 'H' button to hold breath for shot, it will zoom in a little bit more, and steady image a bit more, but watch your oxigen Graph! thats blue line on HUD). 'Num-Lock' is the alt fire button for all weapons. to re-iterate, the best method is to pick them off one by one. hope I haven't been preatching to the master. have fun any way.

Holding your breath works only with the sniper rifle, but single shot makes a big difference when using the other rifles.
