hi, i recently took some screenshots and edited them and made them into some beautiful wallpapers. there is no hud or weapon in the way so you can clearly see the gorgeous tropical setting.

Wow, they are really good, generally user made wallpapers aren't the best, but this is an exception. Do you have Bryce 5? Well, if you do you should try making a fully 3D panorama that you can move around in with the mouse.

thanks for the compliment.... no, i don't have bryce but that would be cool. or an animated background where the water ripples. ooh! i think i could do that! if i do, i'll post it here.

I should try that as well. The 3D panoramas are really hard to do, but I think I will attempt one, just for fun.

ughhh can anyone help? the animated gif goes really slow and choppy and makes my computer lag (it's a good computer). how can i make a high quality, high res gif from a video file that won't get all messed up?

.gifs are basically a slide show, so no wonder it is so bad. Perhaps saving it in a common video format like avi?

it has to be a gif or some other type of file that can be a desktop background ... soo i dunno

Oh, well, can you get a Flash animation as a desktop backround? Never gave the thought to try. :uhm:
