Hey-- i found this website. It has good music for Far cry videos i think, mainly mixed dance anthems.
Ask around see if you can get a track off the artists :P
I find DJ Carlee the best!!
Oggy, there are 10,000,000,000 good/great songs you could use for a Farcry video.....I don't know why you'd even post this. It's completely a personal perference. Rap, Rock, Techno, Electronic, Alternative, Jazz, Ska, Old School Rap, Pop, Metal, Stoner [ie., Pink Floyd], etc etc. It's all up to the maker of the video.

Captain Amerika...It's completely a personal perference. Rap, Rock, Techno, Electronic, Alternative, Jazz, Ska, Old School Rap, Pop, Metal, Stoner [ie., Pink Floyd], etc etc. It's all up to the maker of the video.
OK,...I don't know if you've "turned over a new leaf" so to speak Capt, but it seems to me it wasn't long ago (5 and a half weeks to be exact) you were slammin' my choice of music in one of my videos. Sort of like the pot calling the kettle black don't you think?
In response to my Sabotage: Path To Chaos (Regulator level) video:
"I got to ask, why when ppl make videos, they ALWAYS use music as old as dirt? Don't you ppl get out and listen to some fairly current stuff? I know when I figure out Fraps and make my videos, I'll use NEW music, like current. You know?"
(Here's the actual thread, just to "refresh" your memory.) http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=221521
...and yet two of the genres you mentioned ("Old School Rap", and "Stoner") definately imply NON "current" music. BTW, never heard of the "Stoner" genre, did you make that one up from personal experience?LOL
You not only slammed my choice of music, you tried to make it sound as if I'm a dysfunctional housebound person that doesn't have a life, all because your selfish ass didn't like the tracks I chose. One of the songs in that video is one of the highest grossing rock songs made, and the same can be said for the CD it comes from. So what do you have to say to all those fans of it that still enjoy hearing it? Should they suddenly drop what they're doing and adopt the narrow minded mentality that great songs live and die within a decade merely because some people have heard it on the radio more than they care to, or that it doesn't fit the latest "trend".
All I have to say to that is, if you've heard it that many times, maybe YOU need to get out more.LOL Personally, I've always thought the "trendy" music to be the stuff that doesn't last on the charts very long anyway. Those songs you were so quick to dismiss as old hat were cut from garage band cloth, they were not part of a market study targeting kids that love to X out and forget their problems rather than deal with them like so many songs these days are. Some people just don't know when they're being manipulated by hype.
The world is all too full of mouthy kids that are way too easily bored and often don't realize for years that others are just as bored if not more so with them until they try to impress the puiblic with their own endeavors.
Bottom line, a little respect goes a long way, and can keep YOU from becoming a bore.
Thanks for the essay, Omen. I was bored. It was a fun read.
Well... you got it wrong capt, it was just a link for people to use if they are looking for some good music. It wasn't my personal choice to use any. I'm telling Dickand twat to use my music, its hear for to check out!
Oh and merry chrimbo!
I don't spend enough time here

You want an apology ? Is that what you want? Want some cheese with your whine? If I SHOULD apologize to anyone, its Oggy. Oggy, I'm sorry for slamming your thread. People should [and are] be able to listen to any music style they want, and I'm sorry for trying to stop that.
Apology excepted. Boy! i need a cup of tea.
