This is the entire Archive level, done in 10:35 without any armor or health damage. There is an alternate ending clip with 3 variations on playing the last warehouse with much shorter times. Music is by Chevelle, songs in order of appearance are, Family System, Tug-O-War, and Breach Birth, with Still Running as the song for the Alternate Endings clip. There was an ex military forum member over at the Ubisoft Far Cry forum having a hard time with the ending of this level, so I wanted to offer one of our finest a friendly gesture. The full video is 153MB, the Alternate Ending clip is 35MB, enjoy. Rescue: Man on a Mission The search for Val Rescue Alternate Endings Swifter stealth tactics
Did you get a chance to view it yet D.PRO!? OOPS, forgot to say thanks to D.PRO! for rescuing the video with a bit of help with a Fraps file, which is why there's no unsightly watermark at the end! Now if I can just get the sound to work, they'll have more realism as well.;)

Thanks for that forum link, with it I was able to try other settings, and eventually called M-Audio, makers of my sound card, and found my card does not support anything other than line in recording. When I bring up the audio properties window, I only see these options: Cd/Aux Monitor Input Line Monitor Input Mic Monitor Input Mic/Line Volume He did say however, that he thought switching back and forth between onboard sound and the M-Audio wouldn't be a problem, so next I'm going to try recording with onboard sound. As for Outpost22, it does look familiar. Back when I was playing Far Cry a lot last year, I downloaded all the available 3rd party maps I could find at the time, and one looked very similar. Does it have stuff like the Treehouse level in it? If so, it was the best 3rd party map visually and gameplay wise that I found, but I had problems with crashes towards the end of the map.
once again Omen, great video-how many levels you got left to do?-i presume your doing every level
pc gamer once again Omen, great video
Thanks PC Gamer, this one came out better than I'd hoped.
how many levels you got left to do?-i presume your doing every level
That depends on whether you mean videos of entire levels or every video I've made. The only ones I've done of entire levels are Archipelago (Boat, Fatboy Farm (Dam), and now Rescue (Archive). It wouldn't make sense to call this one Rescue unless I follow it up with Rescue II, being the entire Cooler level. Then I plan to do Catacombs and Volcano, which wil cover the 6 most difficult levels. I've done about a third of Rebelion, and half of River, with the Gauntlet series, but I could add segments to them to make full level videos of those levels, since I still have the original recordings. Last night I downloaded all of the available 3rd party sp maps from Filefront's FarCryFiles site, and some of them have received rave reviews, so I may take a break and do one or two videos of a couple of those, as per D.PRO!'s request. Unfortunately, I still have not been able to get the audio fully functioning after getting a Fraps file from him. I can record the sound with my onboard AC97 chip, but the gunfire and explosions sound a bit raspy. The first two clips I recorded were in sync, but lately the sound is out of sync. According to Fraps, this is due to larger file sizes that Media Player cannot keep up with to reproduce the sound synchronized, and although they say compressing it into a smaller file/video should correct the problem, it doesn't. I may have to experiment with shorter clips of 1 minute length or so to see if that helps, but so far I'm not liking having to always switch back and forth between my sound card and the AC97 chip just to record and check each clip.
