My FC cd says"Athlon 64" on it. My pc isn't 64, just 32. When I put the cd in, it spins for a minute, and then stops. I can not get it to run at all. The cd is legal and brand new. What is the problem?

sounds like you bought the new 64-bit version. didn't know that was released yet , but i'm pretty sure that you need a 64-bit cpu (athlon 64) to run it.

I know about certain installation problems. I suggest either to copy all the dvd files onto your harddisc and try to install from there, or it might also help if you create a new user with administrator rights on your PC and try to install from there. I had problems running the game at first since I always got the error message "FarCry can not run since an emulation -copy program was detected on the computer". By creating a new user and using this account to run FarCry everything's fine now and I'm able to run the game. Anyway, I hope one of my two recomendations will do it for you and I would appreciate if you would let me know if it worked out or not! All the best...Daniella
