I didn't make it!
I load Far Cry x64 no problems. First clean retail install, then the 2 x64 updates. Newest sound, video and chipset drivers. Once I play the game for a while I get an error, and it either dies to desktop, or sometimes freezes so I have to hard boot. Here is the error: The instruction at "0x05df96a4" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate program. So, I've tried a full, clean reload. Turned off EVERYTHING running in the background. (Even used MSCONFIG to run no startup progs and only microsoft services) None of it works. I can play for 30 or so minutes, even change levels, then suddenly it happens again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ken
Hm I've never heared of this kind of error except in one other game which has as much to do with Far Cry as a porn site with CS. There the error ports to a wrongly used datafile but I doubt that is the case here. Have you checked if you really fill all requirements for the game or if you maybe have any driver disharmony?
