This is my spec: p4 2.6ghz 768mb ram 120hd nvidia 6600gt Ok thats my spec, now my problem. I just got my new 6600gt the other day(came highly recomended) after my old ati 9200 gave up. I have a problem with my far cry graphics, all the textures on buildings trees and objects lying around, what its doing its like they are being pulled all over the place. I have this problem with counter strike source and lord of the rings battle for middle earth aswel, but doom 3 runs perfect no problems at all. I have downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia and it only started doing this after i got the new card. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this.

try "driver cleaner" to get rid of the Ati driver files left behind after you uninstalled them , assuming you did uninstall the Ati drivers first. http://www.guru3d.com -for driver cleaner. good luck

reinstall, new and better card, new cd key, restart your computer, clean your hardrive.

Any of those combos will work

I had exactly the same problem with my 6600GT. If it also crashes after a while, I'm pretty much shure that you forgot to plug the new board to your computers power supply. The plug's found on the other end of the board. Let me know if this was the problem, hope it'll do it for you, all the best...DANIELLA ;)
