Salute and hello :) clan members, I have a big inviation for your clan/ group. But first, allow me to introduce myself and our clan to you, if you do not already know who we are. This is Oberst Hartmund, of the 21.Panzer Division. We have been playing Battlefield 1942, and the Forgotten Hope mod in particular since week 7 of the game. We play the German team predominately, and are pretty serious about our gaming. I have known for a long time that it is mainly useless to have a server where just 1 clan plays. There are great possibilities of having some sort of gaming community, where multiple clans operate together, will yield the best Forgotten Hope gaming results. That is exactly what I am inviting your clan to do. That is, to join in this up and coming FH gaming community, and to be one of the multiple clans that operate on a server, and play FH games often. This is a fabulous opportunity that just could be large amounts of fun for all involved. So what exactly am I asking  That you seriously consider being one of the clans that would be a part of this new FH group. We are trying to establish clans/ groups made of the Allied team, or the German team. There are but a few requirements, and those will be listed below. Additionally I will list several other real benefits to this "community" and some friendly gaming suggestions. Requirements: :deal: -That your clan/ group pick a side. That is either the Allied team (Americans/ British/ Soviets), or the German team for almost all of your games. - That your clan/ group must be able to avoid unrealistic play. In particular that will be base camping (defined as being in the enemy’s un-capturable grid square).\ - That your clan can accept the realistic server statistics. I.e. friendly fire being on, tag distance being very short, etc. - That your clan/ group will at least be loosely allied with the other Allied or German clans  . - Your understanding that this community will play FH on OUR server only (no vanilla BF, Desert Combat, etc.) - The understanding that when the Forgotten Hope mod comes to Battlefield 2, most of the clans here will probably be switching to BF2 asap. - The knowledge if you wish to have admin rights, and a real "vote" in how the server is operated, you should help pay for the server. If you agree to the affore mentioned requirements and you do pay for the server (and you are responsible) your leaders will have admin rights and you will have your share of the say so with it and how it is run. Possibilities: -Your clan/ group will be able to get help with your clan’s structure. If you need help creating an Allied or German rank structure and sheets, let me know! - It is a definite possibility that your clan/ group can become seriously allied with one or more of the other Allied or German clans in this community. That in itself holds great potential rewards. - If your clan happens to be a small one, there is always the potential of merging with another clan of similar likes and characteristics. This is totally voluntary of course. Suggestions: - Play as often as your group can on this new server, and help make it one of the most popular FH servers around :ak3: . - Have some sort of battalion/ regimental/ company structure. This will serve to increase the realism in our FH gaming world. - That this FH gaming community try and stamp out silly things in BF-FH problems like bunny hopping that the FH designers so foolishly forgot to eliminate. Yes we can not insist (and monitor) that visitors stop this, but WE can stop it within our own groups :bs: . - That we be cool and courteous to most of the visiting players. This will be a truly unique thing, and in itself help keep our server popular. Being just, caring and invariable to visitors does matter . - If you do get admin rights (by helping pay for said server), that you vote to keep it as realistic as possible. Fun and realistic play is why we are playing FH, is it not? - That we eliminate timed games in our server. Rationale: In how many battles in history do you think that you only had 30 minutes to accomplish the set objectives? We can just set a lower, realistic ticket number. Benefits: - Your clan/ group will be part of one of the most organized, realistic, popular servers in Forgotten Hope :nodding: . - Your clan will be able to recruit on the server, with your clan’s web site address being posted somewhere on the server for all visiting players to see. - Your clan will have access to other clan’s web site designers, members with computer problem experience, SIG and avitar designers, clan members with cool rank and badge designing experience, etc. - Your clan will be around experienced FH players that can help cross train between clans/ groups, and/ or help train your members for potential rank advancement (that will actually mean something). - As members of this gaming community, your clan/ group will have some sort of voting power with how the many facets of things that we do are done. That means the maps we run, how the clans operate together, etc. This will mainly be a democratic type of "community." - Obviously if the server gets full, official "clans/ groups" that are members will have the ability to kick non-members to make room for their members. What we will NOT do in this community: - Play Japanese maps. - Act silly, as in T’king, suiciding, etc.:banana2: - Cursing other players out, insulting people for little reason, etc.:curse: - Close the main server down for a clans’ personal activities. I.e. training, clan matches, etc. - Have your members use exploits in the game. Those might be: any hacks, game exploits (impervious barrels, boats, spots in the walls, or underground, etc.), night-to-day monitor settings, or other cheats :banplz: . I assure you that we and the other clan/ groups that we associate with, have zero ulterior motives (like perhaps forcing our ideas upon your clan, etc.), and wish only to FINALLY create a FH gaming community & a kick-butt server  . We are taking this community seriously, and are trying to get a more realistic WWII gaming environment going. This will not be just a bunch of players playing on a server. All involved should plan to use some sort of teamwork when possible. Jump on board and let’s get this thing rolling! To contact me about this, or any other concerns, request that I add you to my msn list, and we can easily and quickly continue the discussion on your possible role in this community asap. I am at your disposal for any help on this issue, and probably for any other FH issues as well. My msn address is: hartmund@hotmail.com Alternatively you or your members can converse with us on our public forum area at: www.21Pz.com Clan readers please pass this information on to your leadership and / or staff. Thanks:-D . Salute and out. P.S. Forgive the emotes... personal addiction:drink:

Comrades, this WILL definately become THE best FH community out there. I strongly encourage your clan to join it, whether it's for King and Country, the Motherland, the Fatherland, or across the pond.

Be a part of it!

Hmmm... What do you mean by "small clan"? What exactly is a normal clan size in your opinion? Play as one side only... Would this mean that we would have to operate on according to which side we pick, thus unbalancing teams on the public server? Where would the server be located? Europe or US or somewhere else?

By realism gaming we dont mean you do it on purpose to lose to conserve realistic historical representation. Realism means playing with rules that help make the battle as close as possible to simulating real war. This truly is going to br a great community and might give everyone some more server options. :D If i'm not mistaking so far it is 130th Panzer Lehr Division, 21st Panzer Division and The Red Army that make up this community so far and we are all quite happy about. So I HIGHLY recommend you consider this. :)

We already have more than enough clans participating in this. 130pz, 21pz, and *TRA*, but we are welcoming any clan that is interested.

Also make it noted that if there is anyone out there that is actually interested in starting a new clan, Hartmund and I would be glad to help.

Matyast, get your 11th boys into this. You always said you wanted an end to the 11th and 130th hatred. Well, here is your chance to do it!
