Are you the type of player that enjoys the naval side of the game better than anything else? Are you dedicated to keeping it real and historical? Then we have the place for you. The 1st Cavalry Division Gaming Coalition has branched out recently to include Battlefield 1942:Forgotten Hope. The 1st Team has been into gaming on the BF series since BF1942's release. We are currently running BF1942, BF2, and BF2142 in 3 seperate companies.
Our Alpha Company is the primary unit that plays this game. We have just commissioned the U.S.S. Colorado. A battle ship that will have a dedicated crew. This crew will train as a platoon/ship and fight as such as well. They will report directly to the A Company Commander, Captain Brandi Ghering.
UPDATE: If your into WWII Naval History then you need to contact me. I have decided to take command of the U.S.S. Colorado personally as my A Co is tied up with training and cannot recruit much. I am looking for sailors with the following: 1. Has a dedication to the Naval aspect of WWII Combat 2. Has no objection to playing and training on naval assets 3. Is willing to commit at least 6hrs/week in training and missions 4. Is a team player, mature, and ready to have some fun. I am working hard to get more interest in the naval side of Forgotten Hope. I hope that with the upcoming release of FH2, the original FH will also respark. Recruiting for my WWII:FH unit has been steady, but slow. And I cannot justify removing members from that unit to staff this ship. I will waive the min age requirement but I ask that you younger members who wish to learn more please be mature and behave. At 36yrs old with 4 kids of my own, I don't wish to be a babysitter. I have a long history of gaming and even longer in WWII studies. Those wishing to tryout as a crew member contact me personally on XFire at ID: SGTJADEN this week.
