Hello. I'm looking for a clan (obviously). I get tired of all the unteamworky stuff online so I want to see how I do in a clan. I saw someone else do a self-skill check kind of thing so I'm going to do the same thing. (For vehicles I will put an example of the kind of vehicle I mean) Age: 14 Started playing FH: Just after 0.6 came out, around 2002-03. Been playing BF42: since about late 2001 Location: Eastern coast of USA Preferred language: English Clan-related devices: MSN, ventrilo, X Fire (but I don't visit it much), mic, headphones Skills: Infantry: Rifleman-medium, depending on the rifle Anti Tank-High with all non-rifle variants of AT weaponry Close Quarters fighting-Medium Sniper-Very high Aircraft: Level bomber-Betty-Low/medium Dive bomber-Aichi ValVery high Fighter/strafing-BF109Gmedium/high Naval: Main guns-Low AA guns-High Submarines-High (especially allied subs) Destroyers-Medium (really depends on what is happening though) Armored Land Vehicles: Armored Cars-Sdkfz 222-Low/medium Light tanks-Panzer IIF-Medium/low Medium tanks-Axis: Panzer IV (any type)-Extremely high Medium tanks-Allies: T34/Sherman-Medium Heavy tanks-Tiger-Medium/high Tank destroyers-M36-Very high Turretless tanks-StuGIIIG-Extremely high (I often do better in these than in turreted tanks) Self-Propelled Guns-Wespe-Medium Static Weaponry: AT guns-6 pounder-Medium/high AA/AT guns-FlaK 18/36-Very high (both roles, AT and AA) AA guns-Flakvierling-Low MGs-MG34-Medium Mortars-81mm-Suck Artillery-105mm-Medium/Low General statement about skill level: I work best on the Axis side (specifically German). My least capable nation is the Americans. I specialize in sniping, medium tanks and assault guns, as well as tank destroyers. Previous clan-the 21st Panzer Division. Extremely high level of discipline. Why You Want Me: -I know almost every map inside and out -I know every vehicle's capabilities and weak spots -I know how to used specialized kits (Remote bomber kits, glider kits) -I know where to find pickup kits -Very good tactical sense of movements on each map -Because of my map knowledge I can get some very vague instructions (though I don't like it) and carry them out. However, if I get shouted at for bending the rules slightly, then it's not the clan for me -I know how most gamers think, so I can outguess them in situations like a house-to-house streetfighting scenario (Also very useful in tanks) -I basically ignore what other people type, I pay attention to what they do and what they say ("say", as in, Ventrilo) -I can usually adapt quickly to a changing combat scenario before superiors can issue orders Why you might not want me: -Get nervous under pressure from superiors -Have a tendency to procrastinate, so if there is a time limit I have to put in each week I might not make it -Not as computer-savvy as some out there -For FH2, my computer is not quite up to date. May upgrade before then, but still could cause a reduction in performance -I don't like very strict parameters on what I am supposed to do Final thoughts: I'd like a clan that will listen to me (unlike the 21pz...), is not too strict (but keeps their players reasonably in line), and will allow me some freedom to do what I think is best for the team in a game. Keep in mind the underlined statement. But anyway I hope I can get a fun clan for this! FH2 gameplay seems to fit my playing style well, so I think it will get better when it is released.
What was your name in the 21st? You must have been in our SS kiddie battalion....I think the 130th needs you to be 15+ to even join...Once you reach that age drop us a line. If worked under Hartmund then the 130th will love you.
Hartmund?! *twitch* That guy was crazy.
Agreed, that's why he's not with us:P
However, yes, the 130th would love to have you, and judging by what your asking for, you'd like the 130th. However there is a pretty strict policy on age.... When you turn 15, if your still interested, drop us a line for sure. Meanwhile I can try and work a loophole.;)
