Wow, Nintendo is actually telling me that they can help screw up my games? If anyone here hasn't read the My Take on this subject, look on the main site. I won't bother ranting too much here, because I've already done quite enough, but I'm having some serious trouble believing comments like this.

It's like saying "If you use anything but panasonic batteries in a panasonic discman, it could screw up your cds, among some other vague problems that I will make reference to".

I dunno, maybe there's a reason, but I'm not seeing that in any of the announcemnts. Some vague "other problems too" is not really good enough for me to take that announcement any more than announcements that call the GameCube better than the XBOX. Each company advertises itself, it's a known fact.

It's true that the quality is guaranteed. It's the reason I bought at least one, to have that security for my games that really matter. It's just that Nintendo is known to over-price it's cards, and not to any particular construction hardship. It's just because they can, and that bugs me a little.

Wasn't planning to put Zelda on the 3rd person one (it's for rentals, since I never want to erase anything, and 1000 pages is enough for that), but Nintendo may have purposely made Zelda non-compatible with 3rd person cards because it is only trying to sell it's own. If that's the case, it is kind of a dirty trick.

Getting 3rd party memory cards can't screw up your system permantley. Because the memory card dosen't send any data to your system that can be harmfull in anyway. Most of it is just numbers and more numbers and it just stays in the cubes cache. When you turn off the power it is wiped. Also the memmory card can't do any damage to the disc because data never gets written to the disc. But I have found 3rd party memory cards do get curropted easyer but it is almost impossilbe for a 3rd party memmory card to do any damage to your system.
