Hi :uhm: Having dl'ed and installed AA a few days ago, I'm facing a few problems. Whenever I try to join some server/game to play, after about 20 seconds I'm 'thrown out' and returns to the main menu. Obviously this is quite annoying, any help would be appreciated. Another thing - being a newbie to AA (but somewhat experienced in other first-person shooter games), I finished up Basic Training. Then I wanted to proceed to Advanced Marksman, but found this level to be 'not available'. What do I do to make it available. I must admit having only read roughly through the manual, so you'll have to excuse me if the solutions to these problems have been explained there. Still, any response to my problem(s) would be very much appreciated. Thank You

1. go to http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=dl-aa.php and update your PunkBuster 2. you need at least a 36/40 on the rifle qualification to become advanced marksman

You said you are a noob, so i wouldn't waste your time getting 36/40 on rifle. Play for a week and then try it, it will be alot easier and save you lots of time.

Also, if you want to get sniper qualified, turn sound off when you're doing test, the breathing cycle tends to confuse and involuntarily/unconsciously annoy people and miss more. At least that's what happened to me. As soon I turned sound down, I got 39/40 on my first try. But try not to get frustrated. If you don't succeed in a few tries, go do something else, and return later, your chances will improve greatly. Good Luck

or, instead of turning sound off, you can try what I do and match your breathing to the breathing you hear.

Works for me.
