I don't know about anyone else but I would like to see the realism of AA in a world war II game, a mod or something, with new training and on an 40s obstacle course world war II style training and weapons, then a bunch of historical missions, no other game can bring AA realism, so a mod of World war II would be great to see.

AA is realistic? Jeez, I didnt know that.

When you shoot someone twice in the head with a SAW and they dont die...it sorta gives you the impression that its unrealistic.

I reckon the most realistic game there is is OFP and that has heaps of WWII addons/mods.

But for your idea, yeh I like it. If this game is about America's Army why cant we have the historical parts of it as well.

I dont find Americas Army particularly unrealistic... I don't know what your problem is, but when I shoot anyone in the head with anything they die. I see a lot of complaints: "WTF?! I SHOT HIM IN THE HEAD AND HE DIDNT DIE!!" and so forth. If bullets always went where you wanted them to, then everyone should be qualifying 40/40 on rifle range. Even the Chinese kid.

This 'con is awesome -> Reminds me of the 7-UP dude. Remember that Sega game?

but I was just saying it would be great to have a world war II part of america's army, with new training and historical maps and everything like that, it would be great.

Medal of Honor Allied Assault. You can download maps of real battles for multiplayer, plus, it has an entire single campaign that includes Normandy. Best single player shooter I have ever played. If anyone hasnt allready tried this game, at least look at the demo. I sh!t you not, the Normandy level was probably the most intense gaming I have ever experienced. The multiplayer has over 2,000 active servers so there are a lot of mods, including ones that have even more realistic play by messing with physics, accuracy and damage. If you like WW2 games give it a shot.

The reason I give this reply is that a ww2 version of Army Ops probably would not be relevant to the games purpose as an effective recruiting tool, and therefor outside of the realm of the game.

I agree with Marty; a World War II mod would be great, you can either choose the rangers or the airborne; D-Day would be fantastic; but the closest we have got to an interactive D-Day is Frontline, Allied Assault and Spearhead, so we'll just have to stick with them for the moment.

Nah, AA is far from realistic. I can point out alot of things wrong with it(I wont). But as far as a WW2 game goes, Im kinda tired of WW2 over and over, as if it was the only war ever. why not WW1? or the korean war? anyway you have games like MOH:AA for WW2.
