For all you people with low-bandwidth, here's the article :

We at Militarysim.com would like to take this moment to thank Abraxas for taking the time out to give us this interview as we all know he has a very busy schedule to keep. Thank You.

MS- Do you consider the release of version 1.9 to be the best and most successful version yet?

[DEV]Abraxas - Yes, I do. Version 1.9 brought us much closer to my original expectations for this game. Subsequent versions will see even more improvements. I'm very pleased at the progress this team has made, and I feel that our recent accomplishments has raised the game to a new level.

MS- Will you now only focus on Special Forces or are there other stuff on the to-do list?

[DEV]Abraxas - There are always other things on our To-Do list. Special Forces is a major facet that we are focusing on, but we have many other goals as well.

MS - For the laser sight on the M4 mod, will we see red dots flying on walls in third person view and same for the flashlight?

[DEV]Abraxas - That is the goal.

MS - When do you expect to have Special Forces ready for the public?

[DEV]Abraxas - As mentioned previously, SF will come to you in portions until it is completed.

MS - What will be done to prevent another premature release?

[DEV]Abraxas - All we can do in the aftermath of such incidents is try to determine what went wrong and take steps to prevent those problems from happening again.

MS - How many new maps are currently being worked on?

[DEV]Abraxas - There are about 6 to 8 maps currently in production. Some are training, some are multiplayer. We're hoping that the majority of them will be ready for version 2.0.

MS - Has PunkBuster been working as expected for the first few days?

[DEV]Abraxas - Yes, although we had a few compatibility issues between PB, the code and the servers, but they all seem to have been ironed out now.

MS - The issue of people disconnecting from the internet when they try to connect to a 1.9 server, is this being worked on or is there any possible solution?

[DEV]Abraxas - We are currently researching this problem. We always give highest priority to any issues that prevent people from playing the game.

MS - Any word on when the karma engine will be looked at?

[DEV]Abraxas - Karma has been working its way up the list, and hopefully we'll be in a position soon to start integrating it.

MS - Are there additional plans for new features on the interface for the next release?

[DEV]Abraxas - Yes, we've done a lot of polish on the interface that we didn't have time to do for 1.9. We're also adding some new pages and features to it. As we get closer to release, I will reveal what some of these things are.

He said that most of them are going to be Special Forces and the Stryker's training maps. Only 1-2 maps are gonna be multi-player.

I think the Stryker Brigade gets it's own map (the one they showed at E3). Remember that the Stryker will not be able to move (at least not yet), it would be useless in RT. And even if it could move, it would be child's play ambushing it with RPG's from the hills.

Yes, and no. The strker will be put into radio tower. It will also have it's own map too. Still ofcr KAH, it would be cool to blow the stryker up from the hills! But it wouldn't be child's play if you wanted to guard an obj. with a machine gun that has digital zoom.
