Mokusaku;4194530It has nothing to do with exploding radios (I think) but the fact that when commander is using radio he is infact in vehicle. And you know what happens when you are in a vehicle that is destroyed -> you die with it. Great BF2 engine strikes again. :P

Excellent explanation. Now, the question becomes, can we protect radios in underground bunkers from explosions on the land above them?

i think its possible to make radios inmune to explotions , not realistic , but it will fix the problem with the arty , and radios can be destroyed with a few bullets so you dont have to use your nades :)

You seem extremly vulnerable when insight "vehicles" (radio, MG pos etc.) from any explosion impact even when your in a bunker. This applies to arty strikes but also handgrenades!

Bug confirmed though I guess we can blame BF2... added as bug 847
