They should upgrade 1.9 right away and give all players binocs. So many times at a long distance I cant tell foe from friend so i dont shoot but then I get shot.

you got a point but i don't think many players will take advantage of the binocs and they'll still shoot straight away. I think people shoot report in more too avoid friendly fire...

Right now binoculars are only given to Fireteam Leaders and Squad leaders (as in the army). The reason for this is because the Fireteam Leaders and Squad leaders need to lead their riflemen, automatic riflemen, grenadiers, and snipers to the enemy and to guide them to completing the mission.

You know what i think (this is before 1.9, when you can pick what u r and you stay that way) people always choose something, but get something else. ex. If i choose the saw i get to be the fireteam leader (this is before 1.9). Before the binocs alll the squad and fireteam leaders were the same as the rifler, so they gave the fireteam leader and squad leader binocs so there was a benifit to being a leader, and you were not the same as a rifler.

Yes they did that, and they also had other reasons for adding binoculars. To differentiate between fireteam leaders and squad leaders from riflemen was one of them, and so was the urge from the players to add them. Another reason why they were added was to encourage the directing of fire and suppressive fire toward the enemy by the leaders.
