Yup that was an other option, yet an other option was to make a duplicate version of the mesh and thus create a version with and a version without soldier collision. The stack would obviously use the one with.
I proposed those solutions (custom stack collision for this map, duplicate mesh with col, adding soldier collision to mesh and perhaps one other thing that I can't recall). By looking at the internal logs they decided to just add soldier collision. Whatever the reasoning behind it is fine with me, because getting stuck behind one case is a smaller issue (if it's an issue at all) then hiding inside a stack of them.
