I have had several CTD´s while using the artillery. It doesnt seem to happen anytime else than on the arty when I am giving them hell with the big gun, and it happened again just a few minutes ago on the hslan, Supercharge. Earlier today it was on Alam Halfa, and believe I have had CTD on Sidi Rezegh and El Al. My system specs are.. ASUS P5B deluxe C2D E6600 GF 7900GTX 2G ram Creative SB X-Fi Fatal1ty EDIT: win XP sp2 All settings are on high. ... and Im NOT running the SMP client (Folding) while gaming ;) Has anyone else experienced this ??

not a single crash so far while playing arty

but i could imagine that massive cycling through targets, and thus huge amount of different camery "angles" and positions on the battlefield can cause hardware stress or stress the enginge and make it crash.

so do you cycle trough targets much or change camera views often ? or just sitting in there allways same target and booom CTD ?

Well, if I have lots of targets, I will try to find one that has the best targets .. 88s, pak guns or dug in inf... I dont remember if it happened while cycling through the targets, but I have had CTD with just a single target.

Shameless bump to remind me to test this.

Sounds like something only CTZ can look into though (any clues from all those crash to desktop reports?).
