About 90% of the time, I get either a CTD or get "kicked out" of the bf2 account server so I have to log back in, after a map has ended and the new one starts to load. It either happens right after the end of the round or after the new map has loaded up to ~50% or so. This didn't happen before installing 2.1 (I used the patch, not the full install).

At first I thought getting kicked out of the account server had nothing to do with FH2, because it first started happening a few months ago and I also experienced this while playing PR. But before this patch, it only happened occasionally whereas now its happening majority of the time (either that or the CTD) And I know I'm not the only one with this problem, although I cant say how often the other "victims" are experiencing this.

Since this doesn't happen mid game, its nothing more than a slight annoyance, but I'd still rather not have this.

I run FH2 on half medium-half low, and my system specs:

The account problem seems to be different for each person. Like for me, it has always happened now and then, while for someone else it happens all the freaking time. Not much we can do about the account disconnects, but those ctd's are something we are looking out for. As for the record, I havent ctd'ed in FH2 for good few months.

Well the account problem certainly has gone up for me after this patch, but it might of course be just a coincidence.

The account problem is the same effective problem as the account server being down a few weeks ago -- that was reported as fixed by EA. They've acknowledged the problem though: EA Forums: Server Issues ...

The best thing to do for CTDs is to reported every one (no need to comment, unless you feel the CTD was not random, but please do select the right map). The information is being collected and analysed.

I got some strange incidents yesterday: I was playing on Bardia when everything crashed (my whole system just switched of). I restarted the PC and started FH2. I then got an error reading something along the lines of "file cannot be copied to another file because it already exists", I think this error was reported several times before on these forums. I just clicked "yes" and the game started, everything ran perfect, I could join a server. After a while after a short pause I restarted FH2. This time there was no error and everything went fine.

But when I crash after the end of a map or while loading a new map as is the case, which one of the maps should I select for the error report? (Hope this sentence made sense =p)

Good question. I'd say that if you've got to the loading bar then select the map that was being loaded. If its before that, select the map that just finished.

I know, what I will say in the next sentence sounds a bit odd, but it is a fast opportunity to test and does not cost you a thing:

Some of my clanmates had some good success in stopping the "end of the round-CTD" by having a browser window (mostly Firefox) open in the background while playing.

I do not have any idea why this should technically avoid the CTD - but experience shows decreasing CTDs.

Hmm that is odd but i get similar problems with CTD,.., they all seem to be related to msinfo32 error 2 ., i did some research and it seems that its something to do with default browser :S wth that has to do with fh2 is beyond me tho.

However im CTD and end of round during round and beginning of round also, plus having to deal with this st00pid EA error to do with reading from server its getting quite annoying. This never happened to me with the first release.
