I'm getting this error when starting the game, right after the NVidia screen. Does this error mean that I must have a 3D video card?

Error is as follows:

"GetDeviceCaps failed(D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE) on adapter 0.

History: GetDeviceCaps <- UD3DRenderDevice::Init <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine"

E-mail me a reply at: cephyr13@hotmail.com

Thanks.

I think it might have something to do with directx. Are u running version 8.1 of that? Also check out the folder in aa named systeminfoAAO in there is 2 programs that will tell u if u can run the game or not. Do start/run/dxdiag to see your current version of directX.

Thanks for the info. Now that I think about it, I have seen the D3D. It has something to do with Direct Draw in DirectX I think. Thanks!
