Well I haven't found anything about it in PC Gamer or PC Gaming World, unless you get a better PC mag or a console mag, I guess you won't either :(. Maybe they're doing that thing where they don't announce it till its nearly finished, to surprise everyone...

What would be a really nice addition (for the PC version anyway) would be if they linked all three cities together, though I guess they'd have to use the same aging GTA 3 engine for San Andreas as well. Y'know, like the blocked-off tunnel on the third island of Liberty city could lead to San Andreas, and there could be a boat trip/plane ride to Vice City from there, and the same thing from Vice to Liberty... that's just me, though.

Yeah, that would be nice, there's only one little problem...

GTA:VC is in the 80's! And GTA3 in the, eh... Our time :) . So... Hey, i've got myself a new question for GTA: San Andreas, when is this game taking place?

Heh, I thought about that, but as you can slam cars at 100MPH into a lamp post and only crack your windscreen, I don't think that realism was at the top of Rockstar's priorities... so what's stopping a little time travel :D?

Maybe the 80's again. Maybe the 00's. Who knows. What made them do it in the 80's? The 1900's would be amusing... getting a Model T or whatever up to 10MPH and have the police chase after you for breaking the speed limit... on foot... Or the 1800s, and you could have high-speed horse carriage races. LMAO. The 90s seems to stand out though... thats when San Andreas was set in the original game. They've done the 80s, and I believe that GTA 3 was in this decade (the 'naughties'). When was GTA 1 first released? If its ten year aniversary is coming up any time soon, it could be a special tribute, if you will, to the founder of GTA.

On the subject of the franchise, my receipt for GTA: VC lists it as being GTA 4: VC... is that a mistake on PC World's part, or an oversight on ours?

Is that an 'eh, I'm confused', or 'eh, just shut up,' or a combo? :D
